Nature was one of my earliest inspirations, followed closely by all things fantastical and mythological. Elves and fairies in particular have long captured my interest and were some of the earliest things I drew. I'm delighted to be able to show you my first 3-Dimensional elf, Tamine.
I lovelovelove the way Tamine's eyes turned out. I got the notion to use a pearlized paint base to mix with my colors and it made a pearly-metallic result that shimmers fantastically in any kind of light. Her eyelids are a bit more subtle; I blushed her face then carefully applied the pearl base over the blush. The result is a translucent shimmery effect that fades and then glows as her head's turned. Clear gloss makes her large, exotic eyes even more luminous -- a liquidy, ethereal look that's juuuust right for a faerie princess like her.
Her body and head bases are made by Obitsu, both thoroughly blushed from ear-tips to toenails and all the places in between. Her bust is the squishy 'soft-touch' so her breasts will conform nicely to snug corsets but I chose to dress her in this looser, beautiful outfit made by another talented artist. There is no catch to the neck; to remove her outfit her head will also have to be removed but it -can- come off. Her hat can also double as a wig for Dollfie Plus.
Tamine was sold 9-6.
