~ About Zoe ~
Zoe had a twin but her brother came to me with a factory flaw that kept him from a successful rebirth. Despite the loss, Zoe's come through a real trooper, gaining the right amount of weight and a healthy peaches-n-cream complexion. She's a gentle soul, meant for quiet cuddles and soft lullabies.

~ Reborning Process ~
Zoe started with a warm bubble bath before her factory paint was removed with vinyl cleaner. She was given another bath, then her factory eyes were removed and her nose gently opened and backed with felt.  Watercolors were used to detail transparent veins at her temples, forehead, feet, hands, wrists and ankles, as well as on her tummy and tushy plates. I then blushed Zoe to achieve a realistic, rosey complexion. Every inch was given special attention, particularly where babies are rosiest - fingertips to privates. Her nails are especially detailed, tips to beds to tiny half-moons -- all sealed in non-yellowing gloss and matted for a natural look.
Her lips, nostrils, and linings of her eyes were painted and sealed with gloss. Her brows are hand-painted watercolor, delicate as a blond baby's should be. I then treated Zoe to 2 coats of vinyl fixative designed to safely seal her paint and then she had another bubble bath. Touch-ups followed, along with 2 more coats of fixative. After all those baths, you can be sure her color will never fade or rub off!
Zoe's hair is silky-soft English mohair, "ultra" micro-rooted one hair at a time, a process that takes hours but looks amazingly realistic! Her hair has been sealed on the inside so it can be gently brushed and washed. After a shampoo and a haircut Zoe was ready for her brand new Artistique high-quality acrylic eyes in Newborn Grey which I sealed with clear gloss for a moist look. To give her weight, I filled her limbs with tiny, sterile glass beads sealed with silicone. Her head is weighted with a poly-pellet 'brain', cradled in place by new polyfill. Her body is peachy jointed doe-skin suede, soft and cuddly, weighted with poly-pellets and stuffed with polyfill for huggable body that's not too firm. As a final touch her body and hair were delicately scented with powder-fresh baby cologne so she smells just like a clean baby should!
