Balljoint dolls are a collector's dream that originated in places like Japan and Korea and are growing in popularity in the United States, Canada, and all over the world. The dolls average about 60cm (roughly 2 feet tall), with some standing taller and others being shorter. "True" balljoint dolls (BJD as they are called for short) do not include the smaller Barbie-sized articulated dolls. BJDs like SoulDoll, Luts, Super Dollfie and more are generally made of resin, though Obitsu has produced a 60cm doll that has a vinyl head, making it more affordable to own a large doll for enthusiasts.
